Inset stoves and Cassette stoves fit within a wall recess in your existing chimney breast or you can build your own false chimney breast. Inset and Cassette stoves take up less floor space than a freestanding stove. These stoves are specially designed to require minimum clearance.
If you have an existing fireplace surround that you don't want to remove we may be able to install an inset woodburning or multifuel stove without disturbing it as long as the surround is made of suitable materials such as brick, real stone or marble. When installing the solid fuel inset stove the hearth and back panel should be cut in sections to allow for movement due to the heat expanding the surrounding fireplace materials. If your fireplace was originally fitted for electric or gas it may not be suitable.
We can come round and assess the fireplace for you to see if it is possible or not. If any alterations are required Waveney Stoves and Fireplaces experienced installers will be able to do this for you.
